How subscribing and unlocking works
Subscribe
Pick 2-Device ($19/mo or $190/yr) or 4-Device ($29/mo or $290/yr). Payments are handled by our merchant-of-record provider.
Get your key
After subscribing, you will receive your license key by email.
Unlock paid features
Enter the key in the desktop app to unlock paid features on your devices. Free and paid licenses run from the same install.
Your license is a subscription for the software. It does not include AI usage: you bring your own AI provider, and your provider bills you separately for whatever you use.

- Is this a subscription?
- Yes. Both paid licenses are subscriptions. You can choose monthly or yearly billing and cancel anytime.
- How many devices are included?
- The 2-Device License covers one user on up to 2 devices. The 4-Device License covers one user or a small team on up to 4 devices. The Free version runs on a single device.
- Can I use the same license on Mac and Windows?
- Your license is tied to your account and its device activations, not to a specific operating system. As long as you stay within your device limit (2 or 4 devices), you can activate on the platforms the desktop app supports. See the download page for the platforms currently available.
- What if I replace my computer?
- You are not locked to the hardware you first activated on. When you retire or replace a device, you can free up that activation and use it on the new machine, staying within your license's device limit. Manage your devices from the customer portal or contact support if you need help.
- Are AI usage costs included?
- No. AI usage is not included in any license. You bring your own AI provider, and AI usage is billed separately by that provider based on what you use. Your license fee is only for the software.
- How do I unlock paid features after subscribing?
- After subscribing, you will receive your license key by email. Enter it in the desktop app to unlock paid features — Free and the paid licenses all run from the same installer.
