Privacy Policy

AICI (AI Competitor Intelligence) is a desktop application published by sedvio. This policy covers our public website, the purchase and licensing process, and the Customer Portal where you manage your license and devices. It does not cover the third-party pages you choose to monitor with the app.

We keep data collection limited to what is needed to sell and support the software:

• Purchase details. When you buy a license, our payment provider (the merchant of record) processes your payment and shares with us your email address, order identifier, and product purchased. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• License and device data. We store your license key, its status, and the devices it is activated on so the app can validate activation and so you can bind or release devices from the Customer Portal.
• Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to respond and for our records.
• Operational logs. We log license validation, activation, and email delivery events to operate the service and troubleshoot issues.

We use the data above to:

• Deliver your license key by email after purchase.
• Validate license status and manage device activation.
• Let you resend your key, and bind or release devices from the Customer Portal.
• Provide customer support and handle refund requests.
• Keep records required for accounting and fraud prevention.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our website offers free, browser-based tools (such as the Homepage Clarity Checker) where you can paste text to get an instant, rules-based result. The text you paste is used only to generate your result and to improve the tools. We do not require an account, and we do not publish or share what you submit. We keep a truncated summary of the input and result - never the full text - along with anonymized technical fields (a hashed IP, an anonymous session id) to prevent abuse and understand which rules need improvement. These tools run locally on our server with a fixed rule set; they do not send your text to any AI provider.

AICI is designed to run with your own AI provider. Your key and the content of the pages you monitor stay on your device and are sent directly to the AI provider you configure. We do not receive that content or your AI key.

We share data only with the providers that make the service work: our payment provider for processing purchases, and our email provider for delivering license keys and support messages. These providers act on our behalf and are bound by their own data protection terms.

We retain license and order records for as long as your license is active and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer required for those purposes.
